Along with this course, one of our larger projects was focused on the DATS Scarf Competition guidelines, so that we could already have a submission ready if we chose to turn it in for a scholarship. This year's competition theme was based on Native Plants in Iowa and we were asked to create one original design for submission. For our class project, we were asked to complete two original designs as well as a weave or knit as well as colorways.
